Fractionator laboratory equipment would typically be used alongside the High-Performance Liquid Chromatography equipment, or ‘HPLC Stack’, and the Mass Spectrometer.

A Fractionator is not as sensitive a piece of laboratory equipment as a HPLC Stack or Mass Spectrometer, but when it comes to moving any laboratory instrumentation it is still crucial to check what standards are expected as part of the vendor or original equipment manufacturer’s warranty. Otherwise there is a real risk of invalidating the warranty.

If the Fractionator is part of a bigger external move involving other lab equipment such as the HPLC Stack and Mass Spectrometer, Aport would place the instrument in its own bespoke crate.

However, if it is part of a move within your own building, a crate may not be required.

Whether the move is internal or external, Aport would liaise with the vendor or original equipment manufacturer prior to any decommissioning and recommissioning work. This would ensure any work is carried out to their protocols and standards expected, giving you peace of mind.

Once we have liaised with the vendor or original equipment manufacturer, our specially-trained engineer would decommission the instrument if required.

Aport’s global laboratory relocation service can help you through the whole process of de-commissioning, moving and re-commissioning of laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
