Aport is an international leader in laboratory removals, including specialist instrument relocation.
We employ highly trained and experienced staff who understand the unique demands involved in laboratory instrument relocation on a global scale. Our teams are trained at our bespoke in-house training centre so clients can be confident that valuable instrumentation is always handled sensitively, following the correct procedures and in line with workflow and uptime sequencing requirements.
We ensure all the pre- and post-installation qualifications (IQ/OQ/PQ) are adhered to and tracked at every stage and can assist in the qualification audit trail. Aport will ensure that all items of instrumentation are packed, protected and handled in line with OEM protocols. Our team can also plan and handle all decontamination requirements, including certification.
Our expert staff follow a strict set of procedures, identifying, labelling and logging every instrument using its serial number so its exact location can be tracked at all times. We can work with clients’ own asset lists, or fully undertake the compilation of the asset list from scratch.
Every aspect of a laboratory relocation is carefully planned to minimise any disruption and reduce the amount of downtime for valuable and important instrumentation. Each member of our team undergoes extensive training and is subject to thorough security checks to ensure they are suitable to handle even the most delicate and confidential items.
We design instrument relocation protocols which enable us to set up quickly and efficiently at our destination without compromising any instrumentation. We work closely with our clients, listening carefully to their exact requirements before developing an approved procedure for handling and transportation in conjunction with OEMs and validation service providers.
In addition to laboratory instrument relocation, we also transport sensitive data, specimens and samples.
