Contract win with major pharma

aport has recently been contracted to project manage and deliver physical relocation resources to a major pharmaceutical client in the South East during 2016. The relocation is part of a major onsite restructuring process which will see the client committing to a significant design and build budget in order to structure its research and development activities in the UK for the foreseeable future.
aport has played a pivotal role in assisting to scope out the project with the client, providing many hours of project management support onsite in order to accurately identify and locate all instrumentation to help gain a full picture of the relocation at instrument level including all of the services required at destination.
Once the project commences towards the back end of Q1 2016, aport will be responsible for the booking and management of all OEMs including the clients onsite multi-vendor services. There are a range of complex instruments including a large number of NMR’s with aport creating and deploying a large number of detailed operational protocols including all IQ/OQ/PQ SOPs and the control of all qualification documentation.
This is a major project move for aport and follows on from other successful projects of a similar size for major pharmaceutical customers in Europe, Asia and North America.
